DR. B. STEPANIAN, DPM
Dr. Stepanian has been in private practice since 1993. He is currently the Podiatric Medical Director at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY. He was Chief of Podiatry at New York Westchester Square Hospital until 2013. He is currently affiliated with Gramercy Surgery Center, Montefiore, and recently St. John's Riverside.
Dr. Stepanian has been Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1995 and recertified in 2005 and 2015. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1995. In 2003, Dr. Stepanian also became Board Certified in Pedorthics.
In 2017 Dr. Stepanian became certified by the UHMS for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. He Utilizes HBO and technologically advanced skin substitutes to heal his patients who have diabetic foot wounds.
Dr. Stepanian was trained in the Bronx at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center where in his second year he was appointed as the Chief resident. To date he has trained over 150 residents. Dr Stepanian specializes in medicine and reconstructive foot surgery.
Dr Stepanian graduated surgical residency in 1993 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals. He did his doctoral work at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1991. Undergraduate study was done at Hofstra University in Long Island.
Dr. Stepanian has always believed in giving back to the community. He currently is coaching soccer at Eastern Soccer Club. He enjoys coaching, fishing, boating, skiing and spending time with his family.
